Judds Chemist is a dedicated Healthcare Service located in the heart of Kingsbury, North West London. With over 70 years experience, Judds understands the needs of the community and its clients to provide a focussed healthcare service of the highest standard.
History:
Judds was founded in 1948 by Barbara and Harry Judd, who employed Brian O'Reilly a newly qualified Pharmacist. Brian took over the day to day running of the business, and in 1961 it was sold to Brian’s younger brother, Philip, who ran it with his wife Roish, a nurse.
Philip O’Reilly (pictured above) was famous in the local community for making "Mud", a thick brown Irish remedy ointment for treating nappy rash. They retained the business until 2001 when he retired and sold the Pharmacy to the current owner, Ramesh Patel, (pictured below):
Ramesh built up the business from the original premises in Kingsbury High Road to the brand new, high tech premises in Stag Lane, which opened in November 2017 and is adjacent to Willow Tree Family Doctors.
The Pharmacy now dispenses medicines to over 6,000 patients in the local community and apart from stocking the usual range of healthcare products we have now expanded the range to include Flagship Products including Absolute Aromas, Bioderma, Canabidol CBD, Floradix, and Vitabiotics.
